Page 177 Paragraph 1
"Here's the traitor," one man said while pointing at him.
"The bastard who let them up on his roof to kill us."
"Your not going to live here among us anymore," another man said. "You've taken money for our blood."
Significance:
This part in the story was very tragic for a lot of people because gang members were killing innocent people. The part right here was at a church and somebody let a gang member get on their roof and kill people from there. This made me feel bad for these people because this book is based on a true story.
Personal Connection:
My personal connection to this is not related to people dying and getting shot but more related to something like getting in big trouble. Me and my friends were tping a house one night and we got caught and me and my friend Dillan ran away. My friend Logan stayed back and told them that we did it and so we all had to clean it up.
Question:
If someone in a gang put a gun up to your head and said let me get up on your roof what would you do?
I would let him get on the roof then call the cops.
